Journalling for Women’s Well-Being
Journalling is such a great activity, with so many benefits. With a focus on well-being related tasks, it helps provide a structure for self expression, clarifies our thoughts and emotions, and also aids in stress reduction. It can act as a mindful activity and can be done anywhere. It provides time for you, and fairly quickly builds into a habit of well-being.
If this is something you think you might be interested in, read on! I have a monthly journalling workshop at The Fold Cafe at Bransford. (Yes, there is cake and coffee available to buy!) It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, 2-3pm and costs only £2.50.
What does it involve? Bring a notebook, a pen and be ready for a quick five minute write, a discussion of initial reflections on the task, a quick word play, followed by a 15 minute write using the prompts provided for the month.
